Can this be used in the summer months without overheating my newborn?

Yes, it is! The fabric the baby lies on is self-moisture wicking and is made from high-quality bamboo like materials. The top cover can also be removed for more breathability.

Cannot wait to use!

Absolutely love the newborn pod for my Reef! Of course like all of my other SilverCross items - it’s beautiful - but more than that, I love how cushioned it is. The material itself is extremely soft… feels almost like a lighter version of a memory foam, and perfectly hugs baby. Also love how baby can be secured within it providing maximum comfort and safety. This will be so great to travel with as well as it will easily fit into my suitcase!
